Chi Nei Tsang: belly massage by candlelight

Chi Nei Tsang® literally means “working the energy of the internal organs”.

This holistic massage works with the energies of the abdomen, following the Taoist tradition, for a calmer belly and a general sense of well-being.

The spirit of the treatment

This is a holistic belly massage that speaks to the body and the mind alike: relaxation, release, a quieter mind. The benefits people feel are many and varied.

Origin

A Taoist massage (Chinese tradition).

Benefits you may feel

A deep massage that focuses on the area of the internal organs (stomach, liver, intestines, kidneys), to revive the flow of vital energy and release the physical and emotional tensions that can be felt in this area.

Relaxation, release, a quieter mind, for a deep and lasting letting go.

How it unfolds

Chi Nei Tsang® is a Taoist massage centred solely on the belly. Much more than a traditional massage, it is a deep massage.

To extend these benefits, I include Thai massage movements on the legs and finish the session with a massage of the shoulders, neck and head.

Good to know before you come

This belly massage is not recommended during pregnancy. It is postponed in cases of Crohn's disease or inflammatory bowel disease, and medical advice is needed after abdominal surgery. Please tell me about any hernia, acute abdominal pain, use of blood thinners or recent meal.

Recommended frequency

No set frequency is required. This deep massage is often enjoyed a few weeks apart, to give the body time to take in the work, and the rhythm is then refined together according to how you feel.
