The FasciAlchimie® sculpting massage is a protocol created and registered by Émilie Ricci-Rouanet, who brought several techniques together in a single massage.

How it unfolds
The treatment begins with a facial, which prepares the skin and tissues, then continues with the FasciAlchimie® sculpting massage.
The sculpting massage combines several approaches: release of the skull fascia, inspired by gentle osteopathy, a Japanese facial massage inspired by Kobido®, movements from Chinese massage, facial Qi Gong, stone pressure on the energy meridians of the face and an energetic lymphatic drainage.
Depending on the step, I use a jade roller, the Ridoki and precious stones for the stone pressure, as well as, in my protocol, Cecily Braden brushes to support lymph circulation.
The aim of the FasciAlchimie® massage is to work beforehand on everything that stops energy from flowing properly: releasing emotions and reshaping all the tissues, to maximise the effects of the lift.
During the treatment, as the movements follow one another, tensions ease, the face relaxes and reveals itself.
In this holistic approach, the treatment speaks to the whole person: beauty is worked from the inside out.

Good to know before you come
The treatment is postponed in case of an inflammatory flare-up (acne, eczema, psoriasis), open wound, infection, fever or active cold sore. After recent injections or cosmetic surgery, medical advice is recommended.
Recommended frequency
No set frequency is required. Either an occasional session for an immediate effect, or a series depending on your goals, to be built with Karlien during your first treatment.

What is a fascia and why work on it?
The fascia is the thin membrane that wraps the muscles of the face. Working on it by hand helps release accumulated tension and bring movement back to areas that are often held still, such as the jaw or the forehead.
Does this massage replace surgery or injections?
No, it is a manual massage, not a medical procedure. It works on muscle tension and on the relaxation of the face, not on the structures that aesthetic medicine works on.
Why does this treatment last 1h30?
That is the time needed to prepare the skin, then carry out the whole massage without rushing any step, from the face to the neck and the trapezius muscles.
